  • We collect only what we need to deliver your order and look after you.
  • We never see or store your card or UPI details — the payment gateway handles them.
  • We don’t sell your data, and this website runs no advertising or analytics trackers.
  • Ask us any time to see, correct or delete your data.

This policy explains how [Registered business name] (“NUXI”, “we”) handles your personal data when you use nuxi.in, order from us or contact us. It is written for the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 and its rules.

What we collect

  • When you order: your name, phone number, email, delivery and billing address, and what you ordered. You enter these at checkout, which is run for us by Shopify.
  • Payment: handled entirely by the payment gateway at checkout. We receive a confirmation that you paid, never your card, UPI or bank details.
  • When you message us on WhatsApp or by email: your number or address and what you write to us.
  • When you write a review: your rating, your review and the name you want shown. Reviews are sent to us on WhatsApp and published only with that name.

What stays in your browser

Your bag, the pincode you check and a few display preferences are saved in your own browser (local storage) so the site remembers them between pages. They are not sent to us. This website does not use advertising cookies or analytics trackers. Shopify’s checkout pages set their own cookies to run checkout and prevent fraud; see Shopify’s privacy policy.

Why we use it

  • To process, pack, ship and deliver your order, and send you order and delivery updates.
  • To handle cancellations, replacements, refunds and questions.
  • To confirm cash-on-delivery orders and prevent fraud.
  • To keep the invoices and records that tax law requires.
  • To send you offers or news — only if you opt in, and you can opt out at any time.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers who need it to do their part, and only for that purpose:

  • Shopify, which runs our checkout and order records;
  • the payment gateway that processes your payment;
  • our shipping partners and couriers, who receive your name, phone number and address to deliver your parcel;
  • WhatsApp (Meta), when you choose to message us there;
  • government authorities, when the law requires it.

We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice records are kept for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires. Messages and other data are deleted when we no longer need them for the purposes above.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or erase it (except records the law requires us to keep). You can withdraw consent to marketing at any time. Write to the Grievance Officer below; we reply within 30 days at the latest. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Security

Checkout and payment run over encrypted connections on Shopify and the payment gateway. We limit access to order data to the people who fulfil orders.

Children

Our products are sold to adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
