A copper-bound signalling peptide, small enough to reach the follicle itself rather than sit on the scalp. It is used in hair formulas to hold the anagen — growth — phase open longer, so the strand stays in cycle before it sheds. A complex of DHQG and EGCG2 developed to act on the stem cells in the follicle’s outer root sheath — the ones in follicles that have stopped producing altogether. The published work behind it is supplier research rather than independent trials, and it is worth knowing that before you read anyone’s claims about it.

DHT shortens each growth cycle a little further than the last. Caffeine has been studied in vitro for its effect on DHT-suppressed follicles, and it earns a place here for that. It is not a DHT blocker and nothing on this page will call it one.

How to use

Start dry
Part the hair at the crown, the temples, and anywhere else you can see scalp. Dry hair, not damp — water on the scalp dilutes the dose and spreads it where you did not aim it.

Eight to ten drops, onto skin
Straight down the partings. The instruction that matters on this whole page is aim at scalp, not hair: spread evenly over the head, most of a 30 ml bottle lands on hair that was never the problem.

Massage it in
A minute with your fingertips, not your nails. You are working it into the skin, not scrubbing the scalp.

Leave it
No rinse and no wash-out. It is water-light and dries down in a couple of minutes, so it goes on before bed or before the day, whichever you will actually remember.
Once a day, every day — a 30 ml bottle is about eight weeks of that. Photograph the parting on day one. The change is gradual and the eye misses gradual.
